The town is comprised of approximately 18 square miles, and its most prominent landmark is Mount Diablo, providing a majestic backdrop for Danville as well as neighboring towns and cities. Las Trampas Regional Wilderness offers 5,342 acres of wilderness and an expanded trail system. Osage Station Park is a 35-acre park featuring tennis courts, baseball diamonds, soccer fields, playground, rose garden, and path around the park. Sycamore Valley Park offers ball fields, paths, children’s playground, and picnic area. Canine Corral – Dog Park is a 1.5 dog park with separate play areas for large and small dogs.
